This scholarship is designed to support meritorious but financially constrained students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa enrolled in public sector universities, including the University of Swat. The scholarship ensures that students with high academic performance but limited financial means can continue higher education without disruption.
The student must have scored at least 70% marks in the last attended examination or 3.00 CGPA in each semester, in case of arts specialised university, selection will be on the basis of merit aptitude test, whereas selection is on the basis of skills. Students must be of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa domicile, including newly merged Districts or those from the Erstwhile Areas. FATA. Students must secure admission in the approved list of Educational Institutions (Available on the official website) within Pakistan and must be enrolled in the first year of the degree program, i.e BS & MS. Parents/Guardian income should be equal to or less than Rs: 160,000/- per month. Scholarship will be awarded for freshly enrolled students, i.e. 1st year students studying in BS & MS programs, in the fields of “Emerging Sciences, Engineering sciences, Management sciences, General Sciences and Arts groups .” A student if availing any other scholarship will not be entitled to this scholarship program. The students must register and apply through the KPEF official website and online scholarship portal before 27th February 2025. Scholarship will be processed through an online digital portal; no direct applications to KPEF or the university will be entertained. There will be interviews at the university campus by scholarship disbursement official committees for final recommendations. Scholarships will be awarded equally among male and female students. In case of no applications in either case, scholarships will be distributed among the next in merit, either male or Female. Renewal of scholarships will be purely on the basis of performance, ensuring a 3.00 CGPA or 70% Marks; otherwise, the KPEF will discontinue the scholarship.
Applicants must apply through the official KPEF Online Portal by registering and filling the scholarship form, uploading all required documents, and submitting before the deadline. Direct submissions to the University or Foundation will not be accepted.
