Overview

BIIT is a private, self-financed IT education institute originally established under a public-private partnership with Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University (PMAS-AAU), Rawalpindi to address growing needs in software development and computing education. In 2016, on recommendation of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Government of Pakistan, BIIT transitioned from a joint-venture to an affiliated institute status. It focuses on undergraduate education in computer science, artificial intelligence, and software engineering, with labs, servers, and computing facilities to support learning and research.
