1. CIBES is a private, degree-awarding institution sponsored by the Commecs Educational Trust (CET), a non-profit alumni-based trust. Its founding aim was “bringing a quantum change in the present education system of the country. 2. Initially, CIBES got affiliated for BBA with Institute of Business Administration, Karachi (IBA) in 1995 — the first such in Pakistan. 3. Since 2007 (charter by the Government of Sindh), CIBES operates as an independent degree-awarding institution offering its own BBA and MBA programmes.
